The 2023 Academic Conference on Student Development of the Council of University Presidents of Thailand, during 9-10 February 2023 at Kasetsart University, The Council of University Presidents of Thailand was honored to be hosted by Kasetsart University under the theme “Important Roles in Student Development After the COVID-19 Pandemic” with the objective of exchanging knowledge on student affairs management, exhibition of works or other related issues to lead to mutual benefits among higher education institutions, especially students who will be the products of higher education institutions entering the labor market and jointly driving the country’s needs according to the administration policy of the Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC) for 2023-2024. The conference included various activities, including special lectures on interesting topics such as psychology and mental health care for students, KU Smart Student Competencies, Routine to Research for Student Development Innovation, etc., as well as the presentation of student development works from various educational institutions in the form of posters and articles, totaling more than 80 topics. The presentation of student development works was divided into 3 groups as follows: Group 1 Service Development and the activity format of students in the Next normal era, Group 2, development of student health work, Group 3, Best Practices, work of student organizations and activity clubs, including a workshop for students on the topic of cooperation with youth groups to create awareness towards sustainability and a survey of extracurricular activities of Kasetsart University students at the 2023 Agricultural Fair, 80 years "Kasetsart Nonthaburi, leading a new way, sustainable Thailand", with more than 500 participants in the meeting.
